Arunachal Pradesh: Army jawan missing from Indo-China border for 13 days

An Indian Army jawan posted on the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh is missing for the last 13 days. Rana is a soldier in the 7th Garhwal Rifles and was posted at Thakala post on the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh. He is originally from Ukhimath in Rudraprayag district.

Army officials informed the family of Prakash Singh Rana about his disappearance through phone. He has been missing since May 29. Due to this there is a lot of uneasiness among his family members in Dehradun.

His family consists of his wife Mamta and two minor children Anuj (10) and a daughter Anamika (7).

BJP MLA from Sahaspur Sahdev Singh Pundir shared his troubles by meeting the jawan’s family at his residence in Sainik Colony here on Friday. “I have spoken to Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt and he has assured me that something will be done,” Pundir told PTI.

Pundir said the details of the missing jawan have been sent to the Union Minister.
