Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the golden jubilee and 36th Statehood Day celebrations of Arunachal Pradeshlauding the frontier state as the land of the rising sun and its people for strengthening their identity over the last five decades.
He said considering the role of Arunachal State in terms of national security, modern infrastructure is also being developed. “We are constantly moving ahead with a comprehensive approach towards ‘development, nature, environment and culture’ in Arunachal Pradesh. It is one of the most important bio-diversity areas in the country today because of your efforts,” said Modi while addressing the people of Arunachal through video conferencing. He said efforts are on in full swing to make Arunachal a major gateway to East Asia,
