An Army Major was injured on Monday in an “accidental” landmine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. Officials gave this information. He said that the incident took place when the officers were doing regular patrolling along the Line of Control in Poonch sector.
Officials said the officer was taken to a military hospital for treatment. It was not immediately known what caused the explosion.
