Sidharth Malhotra was seen playing the role of the captain while Kiara Advani played the role of his lover. Produced by Karan JoharThe film was directed by Vishnuvardhan. Captain Vikram Batra of the Indian Army was awarded the Param Vir Chakra after he sacrificed his life during the Kargil War in 1999.

The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film is a moving tribute to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and his family. The plot revolves around not only the courage and patriotism of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan but also the sacrifice of his family. Advi Shesh plays Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, and Saiee Manjrekar plays his wife Isha. The film is directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures International and G. Uri: The Surgical Strike

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Surgical Strike is an Indian Army based film starring Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari. The film is based on the 2016 surgical strike conducted by the Indian Army against terrorist launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This is a retaliation after 19 Indian soldiers were killed and 30 others were injured. The film is a fictionalized version of true events.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl

Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film features Jhanvi KapoorStarring Angad Bedi, Pankaj Tripathi, Manav Vij in lead roles. The film is based on the life of Gunjan Saxena who was a flight lieutenant and the first Indian Air Force woman to serve the country in the Kargil War.

Bhuj: The Pride of India

The film is based on the true events of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The film tells how with true dedication, Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik of the Indian Air Force rebuilt the damaged landing strip in 72 hours with the help of 300 local women. Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha played the lead roles in the film.
