Aishwarya and Umapathy are reportedly getting married in the second week of June.
Lovebirds Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah are all set to tie the knot next week. While Aishwarya is the daughter of Arjun Sarja, known as the ‘Action King’ of Kollywood, Umapathy is the son of Thambi Ramaiah, a popular South actor turned director. As such, the anticipation surrounding their wedding ceremonies is high. Amid this, it is being reported that the reception will be held on June 14.
Pinkvilla obtained a part of the invite. As per the invite, the wedding reception will take place on June 14 at the Leela Palace in Chennai. It is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm. Arjun Sarja and his wife, former actress Niveditha Arjun extended their warm wishes via the invite.
The couple met on the reality show ‘Survivor,’ where Arjun Sarja was the host. They instantly clicked, leading to their engagement in October last year. Their love story is a beautiful narrative of two creative souls coming together, both supporting each other’s dreams and ambitions.
If we speak about the filmography of Aishwarya Arjun, she made her debut as an actress in 2013 with the action-comedy film Pattathu Yaanai alongside Vishal and Santhanam. She made a few more appearances in the films but failed to make an impression on the audience. Another film, Prema Baraha, which was directed by her father Arjun Sarja and produced by her mother Niveditha Arjun was simultaneously released in Tamil and Kannada. The 2018 bi-lingual film was a commercial success in Karnataka but the Tamil version earned an average number at the box office.
On the other hand, Umapathy Ramaiah made his acting debut in 2017 with Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay. Similar to Aishwarya, his father also directed the film. His 2018 film Maniyaar Kudumbam received a mixed review from the audience and failed to gain momentum at the box office. He gained fame when he appeared on an adventure-based reality show hosted by Arjun Sarja, Survivor.
The wedding was said to happen in February 2024 but now, as per the latest reports, it will take place in June’s second week with the reception being held on June 14th.
