Arjun Kapoor Calls Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada a ‘Wholesome Entertainer’

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s much-awaited comedy-thriller Shehzada released across the cinema halls today. Earlier, the makers recently organized a special screening of the film for the Beetown fraternity. Arjun Kapoor who attended the screening has now reviewed the film and sent his best wishes to the team.

Sharing an Instagram story, Arjun wrote, “It was fun watching Shehzada..Full Pasia Vasool.” The actor then ticked Greek check boxes on ‘songs, comedy, action, emotion, drama’ and said, “Everything to give our audiences claps, whistles and smiles”. On the closing note he said, “Congratulations on this complete family entertainer.”

Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar in key roles. The film is an official remake of the 2020 film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde and Tabu.

Shehzada also marks the outing of Kartik Aaryan as the co-producer of the film. Earlier in an interview with ETimes, the actor shared that he forked back his remuneration for the film. “Earlier I was not the producer for the film. I had taken my fee and remuneration but then there was some crisis and as the film was going through crisis they needed someone to step in so I told the producer that I will give my money for the film and this Like this whole production thing and I’m going to be a co-producer.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani. This would mark Kartik and Kiara’s second film after their hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Kartik also has Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3 and Hansal Mehta’s Captain. India is in process.

Talking about Arjun Kapoor, he was last seen in Aasman Bhardwaj’s Kutti alongside Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma and Radhika Mandan. He will next be seen in The Lady Killer alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
