Like everything, there is a proper way to cut and eat fruits. Many people eat fruits by cutting them in half. But they do not realize that when done properly, it not only helps in making the process easier but also ensures better and optimum utilization of the fruit without any wastage.

Pomegranate is one such difficult fruit. This red colored fruit is known for its sweet, luscious taste with juicy texture. Whether you consume them raw or use them in salads, dips or on other foods, it is extremely important to learn how to de-seed them properly. An Instagram reel shared by educational platform Satvik Movement showed social media users how to open a pomegranate, spill it on yourself and make a mess without wasting the juice.

The Sattvic movement described that first, users should make a careful incision from the open side of the fruit by making a square shape with the blade of a knife. Users will see a white pulp that has split the pomegranate into four to five sections. Now, a first look at this pulp will reveal a few lines. With extreme caution, Munch recommends cutting along these lines but not in a very deep way that will spoil the entire process. After this, the four segments should be pulled apart with your hands. Those who try this process will be pleased to find how easily the four sections are separated.

Now, comes the last step to put an end to this neat way of de-seeding the pomegranate. Users now have to place the pomegranate in their hand over the bowl of water and ensure that the open end is facing their palm. Now slowly take out all the seeds from the four parts of the pomegranate, which will come out very easily. And now, get ready to enjoy your favorite crunchy pomegranate seeds. Sharing a video on it, Sattvik Andolan wrote in the caption, “It’s incredibly simple, and in a way I find it satisfying too. If you’re excited to try it, give me a (high-five).” ! #pomegranate #easyhack #dailyhacks #hacks #satvicmovement #foodismedicine.”

The reel has got 20 lakh views so far.
