According to reports, NCB sources have confirmed that a fresh arrest has been made. The central agency has also alleged that ‘Arbaaz shared some drugs with Aryan’.
Presently further investigation is going on.
The NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia cruise ship, which was on its way to Goa in the middle of the sea on the night of October 2. A total of 18 people, including a Nigerian national, have been arrested in the case.
Aryan and other accused had applied for bail on Friday after spending five days in NCB custody. However, his bail plea was rejected by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) RM Nerlikar.
In the 15-page order, the details of which were made available on Saturday, he said “this court terminates its jurisdiction to entertain applications for bail” considering Section 36A and the fact that the three was held for an offense under various provisions. NDPS Act for which the prescribed punishment was more than three years.
His order further states that all alleged offenses are specifically triable by a special court.
