Apple recently launched iphone 13 As the series and devices went on sale, some users noticed a bug in them. Users received the “Unable to communicate with Apple Watch” error message when they tried to use the unlock feature with Apple Watch on their devices. The feature was introduced by the company in April to help users unlock their iPhones while wearing a face mask. Cannot authenticate with Face ID mask.
The bug was first reported on a Reddit thread in which a user said “So I have an Apple Watch SE and just got my iPhone 13 Pro today, both fully updated with the latest iOS update. I get an error saying “Unable to communicate with Apple Watch” when I try to unlock my phone with Apple Watch.
It seems common-problem solutions like restarting and pairing both the devices are not working as the user further mentioned “I tried unpairing/repairing both watch and phone, hard reset, turn off passcode” / Tried to turn on and I’m at a total loss?”
A Reddit thread has been linked to by several other iPhone users who are reporting a similar problem. Conversations about the bug are starting to fill up in the Apple Support forums as well. Reportedly, the bug is only a part of the newly launched iPhone 13 series and the feature is working fine on other iPhone models.
This week iPhone users have already reported some bugs related to the storage of the devices in the new operating system. Although Apple has stopped new code signing for iOS 17.0. With the growing list of bugs, the company is expected to roll out iOS 15.0.1 soon.
