Along with the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, iTunes Store and Mac App Store were also part of the outage, which are now resolved. According to DownDetector, over 2,400 problems were reported by users.
About 91 percent reported issues with server connection, 7 percent while accessing the website, and 2 percent while logging in.
According to Apple’s support page, the outage occurred between 11:20 p.m. and 11:47 p.m., and all users were affected. The support page said: “This service may be slow or unavailable.”
During the outage, users shared their problems on social media.
“Apple’s App Store was down for a while. Some of the Apple outage services were working on iPhone, iPad and Mac platforms,” tweeted one user.
Last year, Apple Music, the mobile App Store and Podcasts resumed services after experiencing an outage for two consecutive days.
Apple’s system status page says issues with Apple Music, Podcasts, Books and the App Store have been resolved, about two hours after affecting some users.
