App: Center launches mobile app version of tele-law service. India News – Times of India

New Delhi: The government has decided to expand tele-law Service to 75,000 gram panchayats covering all states and Federation Region this year, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju While launching a mobile on Saturday said Application Enables online consultation with panel lawyers for citizens.
tele-law initiative of Department of Justice, launched in 2017, is a free service for the poor and marginalized sections of the society. The downloadable app version of the service available on the phone will help it rapidly expand its reach and cover the entire population where eligible people continue to get free service. It has already helped more than 12 lakh beneficiaries, which include people from SC/ST community and women.

Rijiju, who felicitated the frontline tele-law activists who had gathered from across the country, said that downloading the ‘Citizen Tele-Law Mobile App’ will optimize the citizen-centric justice delivery mechanism.
