Andhra Pradesh Inter Results 2022 are out! 54% of the students who appeared in AP Inter 1st year exam have cleared it, while in AP 2nd year, the pass percentage is 61%. This is a new low for BIEAP. Last year, the board declared all students passed on the basis of alternate mode of evaluation as the exam could not be conducted due to COVID-19. While it was expected that the results would be lower from 2021 onwards, the pass percentage has also come down from pre-pandemic levels.

54% of the students who appeared in AP Inter 1st year exam have cleared it, while in AP 2nd year, the pass percentage is 61%. In 2019 also, 60% of the first year and 72% of the second year students had cleared the AP Inter exam. In fact, it is the lowest pass percentage in the last six years.

Girls have outperformed boys on the basis of gender. At least 60% girls passed in AP Inter 1st year, while only 49% boys who appeared for 11th exam could clear it. 68 per cent girls in AP Inter Second Year and only 54 per cent boys who appeared for AP 12th examination cleared it.

District wise, Krishna has the highest pass percentage, with 72% of the students from the region passing the exam. The lowest pass percentage has been recorded from Kadapa where only 50% of the students could clear the exam.

AP education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana announced the results for both AP Inter 1st and 2nd year students. 4.45 lakh students appeared for the APInter 1st year exam, while 4.23 lakh students appeared for the AP Inter 2nd year result. The exams were held in March.

Candidates who are unhappy with their marks can apply for re-calculation and supply of scanned copy cum re-verification of valuable answer scripts. This facility will start from June 25 to July 5. Apart from this, students who could not clear the exam can also appear for the supplementary exam from August 3 to 12.
