Anushka Sharma, who welcomed her son Akaay in February this year in London, is currently residing in the UK with her family. On August 19, her son Akaay celebrated his first Raksha Bandhan with his sister, Vamika. Anushka gave fans a peek into their celebration through a heartwarming Instagram story.

In the post, Anushka shared a picture of the Raksha Bandhan festivities from their home. The image featured two charmingly crafted car-shaped rakhis, tied with strings and adorned with black and white buttons and googly eyes. One rakhi was green, while the other was orange. Anushka captioned the story with “Happy Raksha Bandhan” and added two pink heart emojis, reflecting the festive joy.

The actress often shares glimpses of her children’s daily lives on Instagram. Earlier this month, she posted a delightful picture of Akaay and Vamika enjoying colorful popsicles. The photo also featured a bowl of cucumbers and carrots, with Akaay’s tiny hand reaching into the frame.

During her 2012 appearance on Simi Garewal’s show, she discussed the significance of marriage and expressed that she might prefer to focus on family rather than work once married. Anushka married cricketer Virat Kohli in 2017, and their love story has been well-documented. Their daughter Vamika was born on January 11, 2021, and Akaay followed on February 15, 2024.

Anushka, known for her roles in films like “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” and “NH10,” was last seen in a lead role in “Zero” (2018) and made a cameo in “Qala” (2022). She is set to star in “Chakda X’press” next.
