Anushka Sharma was certainly celebrating with the crowd as RCB’s Glenn Maxwell got the wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad off the first ball.

After setting a target of 219 for CSK, the equation for the final spot in the playoffs was clear. If the Chennai-based unit were to qualify they would have to score at least 201 runs or better yet take the win or hope that rain plays spoilsport and the game ends in a tie. For RCB they need to win by a margin of 18 runs or more to take that final spot.

A half-tracker from the off-spinner with the Chennai skipper looked to pull but did not time it at all and found the man at the fine-leg region who took the catch which put a smile on the face of Anushka Sharma.

She was even seen giving high-fives to the others in the stands showing her happiness in seeing her husband’s side have the momentum with them.
Kohli on the other hand, managed to contribute a crucial 29-ball 47. He managed to score 19 runs off his first 9 within the powerplay as rain interrupted the proceedings. However, for RCB’s sake, the game was back on after a short period and no overs were lost as a result of the delay.
Kohli was in the spotlight once more as he also took the catch to dismiss the dangerous Daryl Mitchell as RCB could very well be in for a win by a massive margin, but CSK’s lengthy batting unit might have something to say about that.
