Jason Shah and Anusha Dandekar made their relationship official in March 2017 but parted ways in 2021.
Anusha Dandekar says her former boyfriend Jason Shah has lied about their ugly breakup. On Wednesday, Anusha took to her Instagram stories to clarify that she isn’t participating in Bigg Boss OTT 3. However, in her note, she also talked about Jason Shah’s recent claims about their breakup and accused him of lying in his interviews.
“At this point, if you google my name, first it was me trying to fit someone in a box! Lies! And now this. Another lie! I’ve not spoken to anyone and they won’t even call me for this show coz they know my answer. I should be paid for the PR though,” Anusha said.
“I like that everyone wants to use my name. I guess I should be flattered but how about you all start speaking some truths like how my film – Juna Furniture – is on its 6th week in cinemas, almost 7th now, and what a great film it is! There are some facts! Go watch it,” the VJ added.
For the unversed, Jason and Anusha had been dating each other previously. The two made their relationship official in March 2017 when they shared their first-ever couple picture on their respective Instagram handles. In the photo, Anusha was seen striking a pose with a shirtless Jason. “When your director for the day looks like this #SoGramable! Oh Hey J @JasonShah (sic),” she had written.
However, Jason and Anusha reportedly parted ways in 2021. Their breakup rumours made headlines after Jason deleted their intimate photos from his Instagram handle. In an interview with ETimes earlier this year, Jason opened up about their breakup and shared that it was “rushed”. Shah did not name Anusha but mentioned that his previous romantic relationship has only made him “wiser”.
“I have had a big spiritual change in my life since then (his last breakup), which has made me wiser,” Jason Shah said and then added, “It was rushed. I didn’t really think about it. The other person didn’t really understand me and I felt they were trying to make me fit in their box. And that is not going to happen, right?”
