The producers of Anupamaa are leaving no stone unturned to prevent any disclosure of the new developments in the show.

The popular show Anupamaa has been in the news lately. One of the primary reasons remains Sudhanshu Pandey’s exit from the show. The actor played Vanraj, Anupamaa’s former husband, in the daily soap. Following the announcement of his exit, the makers are now planning to rope in a new actor to play the role of Vanraj. To maintain privacy around further details, the makers of the show have reportedly banned media on the sets of the Star Plus show.

As reported by Tellychakkar, the producers of Anupamaa have stepped in with the decision to impose a temporary ban on media presence on the sets of the show. If that was not enough, the cast has also been made to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). While the reason behind the move is still unknown, it appears that the makers are leaving no stone unturned to prevent any disclosure of the details about the new developments on the show.

To give you some background, Sudhanshu Pandey’s exit from the show sparked rumors about his alleged tiff with the lead actress of the show, Rupali Ganguly. The actor, however, denied all these claims at a recent award function event held in Mumbai. When asked to comment on the controversy, Sudhanshu said, “Nobody is responsible for anyone’s exit. It is my wish whether I want to do something or not. Agar mainey decide kiya ki main thoda move on karna chahta hun to mainey kiya. (I decided to move on a little, I did that).” Adding that no one is responsible for his exit from the show, he said Rupali Ganguly has never taken her name as she is his friend.

Some of the reports even suggested that Sudhanshu Pandey left Anupamaa to join the reality show The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar. The much-anticipated show is also expected to have Karan Kundrra and Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor as contestants. The confirmation around the participation of contestants is yet to be done.

If you think these are the only rumours circulating around Sudhanshu Pandey’s exit from the show, you are wrong. Speculations were abuzz that the actor also received a big amount to join Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18. Refuting the claims in an interaction with Indianexpress.com, Sudhanshu said, “It’s fake news about me joining Bigg Boss 18. In any case, that show is not meant for an actor like me.”

Anupamaa airs from Monday to Sunday at 10 PM on Star Plus and is available for streaming on Hotstar.
