Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupama is at an interesting juncture as Anupama fights with her family to marry Anuj Kapadia. While Baa, Vanraj, Toshu and Pakhi are against his decision, he is adamant about tying the knot with the love of his life.
In the recent episode, we saw Anupama’s long monologue in which she gave a befitting reply to those opposing her marriage with Anuj. He begins with his eldest son Toshu questioning him for being embarrassed about his mother. He reminded Toshu how he struggled to get a job even after a degree and how he sought Rakhi Dave’s help for the same. Anupama then reprimands Pakhi for always looking down on her mother. Anupama breaks down and further says that on the contrary she should be ashamed of such children who cannot even feel their mother’s pain.
After this Anupama gives a befitting reply to Rakhi Dave and accuses him of insulting her husband all the time. Anupama reminds her that if she is soon going to be a grandmother, so will Rakhi Dave. Therefore, he asked her not to preach the lessons of respect and values.
Anupama speaks for herself and tells Baa, Vanraj and others that she is not ashamed. For the first time, Anupama takes a tough stand and tells everyone that they are wrong. She further says that she is saying all this not because she is in love with Anuj but because she has realized how her family members never respected her.
Anupama’s monologue, taking her stand, exposing the Shah family and giving them a befitting reply impresses fans. Social media has been flooded with fans sharing video clips of his monologue and calling it ‘revolutionary’. A fan wrote, “As a daughter, this affects me more today, because somewhere I have also made this mistake #Rupaliganguly mam Tq fr.” Another social media user tweeted, “Anupama is no longer a fictional character.
