Anbumani Ramadoss appointed PMK President

PMK leader and son of party founder Dr S Ramadoss, Dr Anbumani was on Saturday elected the party president succeeding GK Mani.

Mani said the Rajya Sabha member, a former Union health minister in the UPA government, was elected to the post at the party’s special general council meeting held here in the presence of his father.

Mani, who represents the Penanagaram constituency in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, said in a tweet, “I heartily congratulate Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss on being elected as PMK President.”
