Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is directed by debutant Arjun Varen Singh and written by Singh, Zoya Akhtar and writer-filmmaker Reema Kagti.
Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar on Saturday announced that the shooting of her upcoming home production ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ has begun. The 49-year-old filmmaker shared the news on his Instagram page as he posted a picture of a clapperboard from the sets. Akhtar wrote, “Here we go #Khogayehumkahaan @arjunvarain.singh @gouravadarsh @ananyapanday @siddhantchaturvedi @ritesh_sid @faroutakhtar @reemakagti1 @excelmovies @tigerbabyfilms.”
Billed as the digital age tale of three friends in Mumbai, the film is being directed by debutant Arjun Varen Singh and written by Singh, Zoya and writer-filmmaker Reema Kagti. The film will star actors Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gaurav in lead roles.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and Zoya and Reema Kagti’s banner Tiger Baby. The makers had announced the film last year. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is the second collaboration between Pandey and Chaturvedi after Shakun Batra’s directorial venture ‘Ghehraiyaan’. Deepika Padukone and Dhairya Karva also starred in the film and it was bankrolled by Dharma Productions.
While Siddhant has previously worked with Zoya in Gully Boy, Ananya and Adarsh will be starring in his production for the first time.
The film is expected to release in theaters in 2023.
