Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are officially married. The couple tied the knot on Friday, July 12, in a starry wedding ceremony. Now, a new video has shown Akash Ambani and his wife, Shloka Mehta welcomed the newlywed couple with open arms. In a video shared on Instagram, Akash and Shloka were seen applying tilak on Anant and Radhika’s head forehead.
Akash was then seen blessing Anant and his newlywed wife while Shloka gave Radhika a warm hug as she welcomed her to the Ambani family. Watch the video below:
At the wedding, Akash Ambani posed with his father, Mukesh Ambani, wife Shloka Mehta, sister Isha Ambani and brother-in-law Anand Piramal. The businessman held his children close as he smiled for the paparazzi at the red carpet. The paparazzi screamed out their names in the hope to get their attention, which left Akash in splits.
He was seen cracking up before he calmed down the paparazzi. He urged them to lower their volume while the family posed together. Before they made their exit, Isha thanked the paparazzi with folded hands.
Meanwhile, Anant and Radhika’s wedding photos have gone viral. At the wedding, the couple exchanged their vows. While Radhika promised their home will be a safe space, filled with love and togetherness, Anant promised to build a home of her dreams with her.
“Our home won’t just be a space, it will our feeling of love and togetherness. And it will be where we are, it will be wherever we are, together,” an emotional Radhika said. Anant, in return, said, “Radhika, with Shri Krishna’s blessings, I promise we will make the home our dreams together, our house will not just be a place but it will be an emotion of love, no matter where we are.”
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding took place on Friday. The family hosted the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code was Indian traditional. On July 13, the Ambani family will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic.
