An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck Andaman and Nicobar Islands early on Tuesday. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors of the earthquake were felt at around 5:57 am today.

The National Center for Seismology said that the epicenter of the earthquake was 215 km ESE from Port Blair.

There is no report of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.

A low-intensity earthquake of 3.2 magnitude struck Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Monday, but no damage was reported, officials said.

Officials said the quake hit the Doda area of ​​the union territory at 12.12 pm.

He said that its epicenter was at 33.12 degree north latitude and 75.55 degree east longitude at a depth of 5 km.
