Amitabh Bachchan has been the host of KBC since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen jokingly teasing a woman on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. On Thursday, a video was shared online which showed some behind-the-camera fun moments of Big B. It began with a makeup person doing a touch-up on Amitabh’s nose when the actor told him, “Kya hogaya hai? Aap log humare naak k peeche lag gaye hai (What happened? You people are after my nose).”
“Inka khela dekhenge ya humara naak dekhenge (People will watch the game or my nose),” the Bollywood superstar added. This left the audience in splits.
Later in the video, a woman from the audience shouted and expressed her liking for Amitabh. “We have come to see you,” she said. To this, the actor responded by saying, “Let it be, you are saying this just because you are sitting in front of me.” Big B then added, “Sab log toh aapko dekhne aaye hai. Hum toh aapko dekhne aaye hai (All of us have come to see you. I have come to see you).” Watch the video here:

During the first episode of the season, Big B got emotional and shared a moving message with all those who have watched and supported him through his journey in KBC.
“Today marks the start of a new season. But I’m a little short of words today. And that’s because no word has the capacity to convey the gratitude for your love,” he said in Hindi and then added, “I can’t come up with the words to thank you for your prayers which gave a new life to Kaun Banega Crorepati, which illuminated this stage again, and which reunited a family and allowed me to be present among you. I salute this country’s people for the resurrection, rebuilding, and rebirth of KBC.”
“This stage is yours, this game is yours, and this season is only yours. To respect your love, I’ll be present before you with twice the effort. And I believe you’ll keep reassuring me by holding my hand,” Amitabh said with folded hands.
