Amitabh Bachchan took to X to share a valuable lesson he learnt from his late father.
Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most hard-working actors in Bollywood, especially among the veterans. He is often lauded for his work ethic and his relentless stride for his job. Amitabh Bachchan also maintains an active presence on social media and often shares glimpses of his life with his fans.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has returned for yet another season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor reprised his role as the host for KBC 16 and impressed fans with his dedication and hard work. The new season has brought a couple of changes in the format. Amitabh revealed that contestants on the hot seat can now opt for ‘Dugnaastra’, in which the amount they are playing for can be doubled. They will be presented with a ‘super sawaal’. As interesting as this sounds, there is one catch — the question will not have options.
Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. Kalki 2898 AD was recently released on Netflix and Prime Video in various languages. Director Nag Ashwin recalled shooting days and said that he was surprised to see that Amitabh Bachchan is a ‘big fanboy’ of Prabhas.
Kalki 2898 AD, director Nag Ashwin shared, “Prabhas garu is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan, he was overwhelmed. He was there when we shot the first scene of Ashwatthama. After he gave the clap, he was standing in the background somewhere and saying, ‘I can’t believe this man is on set, I can’t believe I am going to act with him.’ He was in complete awe. Prabhas is very humble, but he was even more overwhelmed.”
Nag Ashwin added, “What was even more surprising was to see, how big a fanboy is Bachchan sir of Prabhas. He went back and said, ‘Can you believe it is the Baahubali, your fans are going to be so angry because Nagi is making me hit you. What is going on?’ He was fully excited whenever he had a scene with Prabhas. There were some scenes I could not shoot together, but separately, and he would be so disappointed, saying, ‘But I want to do that scene with Prabhas.’ He is just such a big fan of the personality and phenomenon that Prabhas has become.”
Kalki 2898 AD witnessed massive success at the box office, the film went on to collect more than Rs 1100 crores worldwide becoming one of the highest-grossing films of 2024.
