The veteran actor shared a heartfelt note before his mother, Teji Bachchan’s birth anniversary.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “A day tomorrow of remembrance to the most beautiful Mother of all time… Aug 12 .. her strength, her warmth, her sense of etiquette and aesthetics… but most importantly her faith and love of all things bright and beautiful for us all… There is no need to say anymore…”
Amitabh’s post is for the birth anniversary of his late mother, Teji Harivash Rai Srivastava Bachchan. She was born on August 12, 1914 and passed away on December 21, 2007. Teji Bachchan was a social activist and also taught psychology in pre-independence Lahore. She had two sons with Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and Ajitabh Bachchan.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Recently, the Bollywood superstar took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle and shared the first photo from the sets of the quiz show. In the black and white picture, Big B was seen spreading his arms as he seemingly welcomed the audience to the show’s new season. “T 5082 – BACK to KBC 16th season,” he wrote.
KBC 16 was announced in April this year when the show’s makers unveiled a promo and announced that the registrations were open. However, the official premiere date of KBC 16 is not known as of now.
Amitabh Bachchan is also reeling in the praise for Kalki 2898 AD. His role as Ashwatthama in the Nag Ashwin directorial film has received immense praise from the audience and critics alike. Fans cannot wait to watch him in the film’s sequel, which is already under work.
On the personal front, Amitabh Bachchan’s family currently has everyone’s attention after Abhishek Bachchan ‘liked’ a post on divorce. This move raised eyebrows as Aishwarya Rai was recently seen posing alone on the red carpet at the Ambani wedding while Abhishek joined his family. Later, it was revealed that one of the writers of the post was Abhishek and Aishwarya’s friend and the actor was only supporting his friend.
