Amitabh Bachchan Promotes ‘Chehre’ Through Series Of 5 Poems

megastar Amitabh Bachchan Recently, he has been seen promoting his film ‘Chehre’ in a unique style by reciting poems in his sober baritone. The film hit the theaters recently and along with it came a series of 5 videos where we can see Big B himself reciting poems from a book named ‘Chehre’, which is one of his biggest fans Vikas. Bansal’s anthology of 70 poems to which the actor refers. as his extended family. The book focuses on the emotional upheavals of life and the consequences of the actions and decisions that we humans experience, leading to different faces on our skin in different situations.

It is written in the form of a monologue where the poet questions and answers various aspects of life at the same time. In November 2019, Vikas got a chance to personally gift a copy of the book to Amitabh Bachchan.

Since the release of the film Chehre, Bachchan chose 5 poems from the book as the eclecticism of the poems resonated with the overall theme of the star of the megastar. Videos released by Big B are trending with #ChehrePoem and have taken the internet by storm.

Not only this, Amitabh in his latest blog also lauded Vikas, saying, “Words written by Vikas were in synchronized effect or maybe not for the characters of the film, but just there.. for the story or the script of the film. The poet does not know, yet it is an achievement to reduce the sentiment.

.. Expression needs to be understood in singing .. Singing has limits .. The presenter is not a skilled reader of the poem or words that the poem represents, or is not in the spirit of the writer when he has tried to put it the way thought he did.. and he will always be the mystery of the spirit of the poem.”

Expressing his views on his poems being used in the promotion of the film, Vikas Bansal said, “The poems are dedicated to the many faces that we humans have hidden on our skin to hide our true feelings. It is an honor. It is a matter of fact that this poem is given. Voice of Bachchan sahab. I remember my childhood days when we used to stand in queues to get tickets for his blockbuster films. I have always been one of his biggest fans.
