The Union Home Minister said that Jharkhand’s Jamtara and Deoghar have become hubs of cybercrime and the Center has tried to help Jharkhand to overcome this.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday claimed that demographic changes in Jharkhand have seen a decline in the percentage of ‘adivasi’ (tribal) population in the state during the tenure of the Hemant Soren government.

Addressing the BJP’s ‘Vijay Sankalp Maha Rally’ here, the senior party leader alleged that the tribal population has come down from 35 per cent to 24 per cent due to “massive infiltration”, which was “encouraged” by the Hemant Soren government Has gone. For vote bank politics”

He accused the infiltrators of grabbing land in the state.

“Hemant Babu is not only involved in corruption but is playing a key role behind the demographic change…infiltrators are coming here…the number of tribals and adivasis is decreasing. The infiltrators are grabbing tribal land…tribals are torturing girls. Hemant Soren is encouraging this for vote bank politics.” Shah alleged.

He said the tribal population in Sahibganj, Pakur, Godda, Dumka and Jamtara is “decreasing” and alleged that Soren “does not dare” to speak against it due to “vote bank politics and pressure from the Congress”.

Shah said, ‘BJP will not allow change in demography’

Hitting out at the JMM-led alliance in the state, the BJP leader said, “The Hemant Soren government is the most corrupt in the country…. Resources are being plundered using railway wagons and tractors. People will oust this government from power in the state as it failed to fulfill the aspirations of development for which the separate state was created.” Shah said the saffron party will win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state in next year’s elections. But will win.

The Union Home Minister said that Jharkhand’s Jamtara and Deoghar have become the hub of cybercrime and the Center tried to help Jharkhand to curb it.

Referring to the murder of a Class 12 girl student in Dumka last year, who was burnt alive by her stalker, Shah said, “Tribal girls are being murdered while the Hemant Soren government is playing appeasement politics.” Has been.” He also referred to the killing of a woman from a particularly vulnerable tribal group in Sahibganj in December last year.

Shah highlighted development projects like AIIMS in Jharkhand and airport in Deoghar besides free COVID-19 vaccine to the people.

He also alleged that the JMM-led government was only involved in “loot and corruption”.

Shah claimed that it was the “Centre which liberated Buddha Pahar and Lohardaga areas from Naxalites by operations ‘Octopus’ and ‘Double Bull’ etc”.

He also said the budget presented by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Development of tribal areas will begin and 38,000 teachers will be appointed for 740 ‘Eklavya Model’ schools.

Shah’s visit to Santhal Pargana is considered important as it is being seen as a campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Santhal Pargana is known as a “stronghold” of the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) alliance, which won 14 of the 18 assembly seats spread across six districts.

Shah had visited Chaibasa in January and called on the Hemant Soren government to stop infiltrators from other countries who, he said, were “out to grab land in Jharkhand by marrying tribal women”.

Claiming that “corruption is at its peak” under the JMM-led dispensation in the state, Shah said the state government “handed over tribal lands to infiltrators”.

The saffron party, in alliance with the AJSU party, had won 12 of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the 2019 elections, while the Congress and the JMM bagged one seat each.
