Amid Cancer Treatment Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Nattu Kaka’s Pics Go Viral

Actor Ghanshyam Nayak, who played the role of Nattu Kaka in the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. The 77-year-old actor is undergoing treatment for the disease and for this he is undergoing chemotherapy sessions every month. Recently, the TMKOC fan page shared some pictures of the actor from the sets of the show with his fans. In the pictures, the actor looks very weak and a part of his face is seen to be swollen.

Ghanshyam, who has not let the deadly disease stop him from working, had earlier said in an interview with Spotboye that he flew in for a particular scene as the show’s producer Asit Modi called him for the same. He also revealed that he is feeling well now and that his doctors have also given him permission to work. The actor mentioned that he enjoyed shooting as he was back to the things he liked after four months. Moreover, the cast and crew of the show were also overjoyed to see her back and took extra care of her.

The actor had developed a lump in his throat in September last year. He also had surgery for this. However, in April this year, he was diagnosed with a lump in his neck and has been undergoing chemotherapy since then. The news of his cancer was confirmed by his son Vikas.
