In November too, the Labor Ministry had sent a notice to Amazon regarding its Voluntary Separation Program (VSP) and asked it to provide details related to it.
Pune-based union NITES, which works for the rights of employees of IT companies, filed a petition and urged the central government and state labor authorities to investigate the “unethical and illegal retrenchment” email.
