The Indian Army rebuilt bridges on the Baltal route for Amarnath Yatra pilgrims in record time after it was washed away on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army is assisting the civil administration in the matter of security and smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Yatra which started from 30th June.

A sudden rise in temperature was followed by landslides that washed away the bridges, resulting in swelling of drains near Kalimata on the Baltal road.
