Amarinder’s Punjab Lok Congress in controversies: Fraud cases worth crores are going on against whom Captain made the party head; CBI is investigating

Former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh’s new party Punjab Lok Congress has been embroiled in controversies. A case of fraud is going on against Sukhinder Singh, its head. Which is being investigated by the Central Investigation Agency (CBI). The Election Commission has issued a public notice before clearing the party. In which the name and address of Sukhinder Singh are written.

However, this party has not yet received approval. If there is no objection to the public notice, the commission will approve it and allot the symbol. There are elections in Punjab after three and a half months. Captain Amarinder has left the Congress. He will contest from the same party i.e. Punjab Lok Congress.

Case was registered in 2019
Captain’s new party chief Sukhinder Singh hails from Sector 5, Chandigarh. There was a case of 33 crore bank fraud against him in the year 2019. In which Sukhinder Singh was awarded International Mega Food Park Pvt. Ltd. Was appointed chairman. Along with Sukhinder, his wife Kanwal Sukhinder Singh and son Simrinder Singh were also nominated.

In October this year, there was a CBI raid
After this, in the month of October, the CBI had named Chandigarh-based firm International Fresh Farm Products (India) Limited along with two other companies of Panipat in a case of 16.80 crores. The case was related to Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and UCO Bank. After which the CBI raided 16 places including Chandigarh, Panipat and Gurgaon. In this raid on 29 October, the firm’s house number 5 located in Chandigarh Sector 5 was also raided. This is the house of Sukhinder Singh, at whose address the company is registered.

Sukhinder Singh confesses to the case, claims the captain is not aware
To this Sukhinder Singh confirmed that he was named as the head of Captain’s new party. He admitted that he had a raid on 29 October. Apart from this, a CBI case is also going on against him in 2019. According to a close aide of the Captain, his name has been given only for the registration of the party. These names were also given before the CBI raid on October 29. They feel that Captain Amarinder Singh will not be aware of the CBI case against Sukhinder in 2019.

Gurmehar Singh Sekhon has been made general secretary along with Sukhinder Singh’s party chief. He hails from Siswan near New Chandigarh. Gurmehar Sr. Karan is the son of Sekhon, who was the OSD of Captain Amarinder Singh as CM. After the death of his father, the Captain had kept Gurmehar as OSD. Apart from this, Sukhsimran Singh of Mohali has been made cashier. The office of the Captain’s party has been told to Mohinder Bagh in New Chandigarh.
