Almost all covid deaths in US are among unconnected people: report

Washington: Nearly all deaths from COVID-19 in the US are among those who were not vaccinated. This is proving how effective the vaccine is. The number of daily deaths in the US has come down to 300 and if all eligible people are vaccinated, the number could drop to 0, according to the report.

The Associated Press has analyzed government data since May. This shows that of the 853,000 cases of infection among fully vaccinated people, less than 1,200 were admitted to hospitals. About 0.1% are getting admitted in hospitals. At the same time, out of 18,000 Kovid-19 deaths in May, only 150 people were fully vaccinated. Which is around 0.8% or an average of 5 deaths per day.

45 states report successful transition
This is revealed by an analysis of data provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC did not provide estimates for the number of hospitalizations and deaths from fully vaccinated, citing data limitations. CDC officials said about 45 states have reported breakthrough infections, and some are more aggressive than others. The data probably underpin such transitions.

98% of Americans who died of coronavirus were not vaccinated
Earlier this month, Andy Slavitt, a former adviser to the Biden administration on Covid-19, said that 98% to 99% of Americans who died of the coronavirus had not been vaccinated. And Dr. Rochelle Valensky, CDC Director, said Tuesday, “The vaccine is so effective that it can prevent almost every death caused by COVID-19, especially in adults.” He described such deaths as particularly tragic. The number of deaths in the US has decreased since vaccination.

According to the CDC, about 63% of all eligible Americans age 12 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and 53% have received both.
