‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun apologized to a Kannada film journalist after the actor’s team arrived late for a press meet to promote their film in Bengaluru. Featuring the lead pair of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Pushpa’ is all set to hit the screens on Friday.
Allu Arjun and his team were late at the venue in Bengaluru during a promotional tour on Wednesday. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and others were reprimanded by a Kannada journalist who was upset over the delay of the ‘Pushpa’ team.
“You and your team informed that the press meet is scheduled at 11:15, and you came at 1:15, is that fair?” The journalist questioned. “Since then we’ve been here, with all the cameras, waiting for you guys,” he said.
Allu Arjun apologized to the journalist. “First of all, I’m very sorry. We came on a private flight and it didn’t take off on time due to heavy fog. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I didn’t even know the schedule had been changed. , and I came to know about it. Sorry, OK?,” Allu Arjun said.

Though the journalist seemed adamant, Allu Arjun’s timely response let him settle the issue. Reacting to the incident, some netizens think that the journalist was a bit rude, while others think it is the right thing to do when celebrities do not respect others’ time.
“When there is cross-state promotion, the media people are the most invited, whereas this time the journalist was a bit rude. He could have said the same thing in a simpler way,” wrote one user.
“Someone had to remind these celebrities about them that they are not punctual,” commented another.
