Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are finally getting engaged. Yes, the party has already started and celebrities have started making their presence felt at the venues. The two exchanged rings at Varun’s Hyderabad home in the presence of their family and close friends.
Moments before the engagement, Varun’s cousin Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and superstar Chiranjeevi were seen arriving at the residence.
Upasana looked gorgeous in a green silk saree flaunting her baby bump, and her husband Ram Charan was seen dressed in a white shirt. Shutterbugs also spotted Allu Arjun outside the venue.
Not only the guest but Lavanya was also seen in a stunning ensemble with heavy jewellery, stylish hairdo and perfect makeup.
Before the engagement, on June 8, the families of both made it official. Promotional duo Vamsi-Shekhar took to Twitter to share an invite. He wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to Mega Prince @IAmVarunTej and @Itslavanya for getting engaged on 9th June 2023. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.”
As per reports, Varun and Lavanya are planning to tie the knot in the winter of 2023. Both have kept their relationship away from the media glare and that is the reason why they have not talked about their marriage in the media till now.
Undisclosed, Varun is the son of celebrated actor, Nagendra Babu. In 2017, Varun Tej first encountered Lavanya Tripathi on the sets of Mr. According to rumours, the two became good friends during the shooting of the film. Their friendship eventually turned into love and they started dating. However, the couple chose to remain secretive about their relationship.
Meanwhile, Varun Tej’s next project will be Shakti Pratap Singh Hada’s directorial debut. Varun will be seen in the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. Lavanya, on the other hand, will soon be seen in Tamil film Thanal, which is currently in its post-production stage.
