The Aam Aadmi Party, which made a bang for the first time in Chandigarh, has made serious allegations against the BJP. AAP’s Punjab co-in-charge Raghav Chadha said that an attempt was made to buy three of our councillors. Of these, 50 lakhs were offered to two councilors and 75 lakhs to one. This offer was made by a senior BJP leader.

Chadha said that this is BJP’s ‘Operation Kamal’ of horse trading. Which BJP has already done in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh. Chadha said that we are getting secret cameras installed outside the houses of all the councillors. At the same time, phone calls made to councilors will also be recorded. Which will be made public later.

AAP won 14 seats in the first time itself

The results of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections were declared on Monday. AAP contested for the first time in the elections held for 35 wards here. In which AAP has become the single largest party by winning 14 seats. BJP got 12 and Congress got 8 seats. After this the screw of Chandigarh election got stuck. No party could meet the figure of 19 required to be made mayor.

Chadha said – Union ministers are also involved in this

Chadha said that the Union Minister responsible for Punjab elections is also involved in the horse trading attempt in Chandigarh. Chadha said that now we will record everything and make it public. Chadha claimed that BJP leaders asked all the 14 councilors to join the BJP. At the same time, BJP leaders reached the house of 3 councilors. Chadha said that as soon as we got the offer, we became alert. Now all precautionary measures are being taken. The BJP will not be allowed to steal the result given by the people of Chandigarh. He said that if needed, we will also go to court but before that we will expose BJP in front of the public.

However .. could not show any evidence Chadha

When Raghav Chadha was asked to give proof of this, he said that now we have turned on the recording. Apart from this, secret cameras have also been installed. When asked which councilors were offered 50 to 75 lakhs, he refused to name.

we will make mayor

Raghav Chadha said that our mayor will be made in Chandigarh. There is no need for majority figures in the municipal corporation. The mayor will be made by those who have more seats. A meeting will be held with AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal soon regarding this. After that a decision will be taken regarding this.
