Allahabad’s MNNIT student placed on Amazon for Rs 1.18 cr package

It is also known to set new benchmarks every year for its placement statistics.

Director Verma said that the institute has a reputed alumni network in the software industry.

Lokesh Raj Sindhi, a student of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad has achieved a great achievement for the institute as well as the country. Lokesh has been hired by Amazon Web Services as a software development engineer at an annual package of Rs 1.18 crore.

This is the biggest package received by anyone in the country after the Kovid-19 epidemic. This year neither NIT nor IIT students have got such a package. Looking at the history of MNNIT, only one student has got such a huge package. Uday Jalan, a student of MNNIT, got a job offer of 1 crore 35 lakh annually.

Congratulating him on this achievement, Professor RS Verma, Director of the institute honored him with a citation and said that it is a matter of pride for the institute. His success should inspire more students, thereby bringing laurels to the institute.

Director Verma said that the institute has a reputed alumni network in the software industry. It is also known to set new benchmarks every year for its placement statistics.

After taking admission back in 2018, this is the last semester of Lokesh. Lokesh confirmed that he had got the campus placement, but kept looking after himself as he was not satisfied with the job offer. Family and friends are often the most excited about the good news and so is Lokesh. Lokesh will join Amazon on August 3 in Dublin, Ireland.

For the youth who are dreaming of improving their future by doing B.Tech, Lokesh’s success mantra is that while hard work is necessary, it is equally important to work smartly. Always keep moving forward keeping your goal in mind. Do not get distracted and always be on the lookout for better opportunities after completing your studies. Never stop honing your skills and keep looking for better ones. Soon success will be in your hands.
