Alia Bhatt opted for a stunning white gown studded with precious pearls for her mega debut at the gala in New York. As soon as Alia’s Met Gala look went viral on social media, people started posting Deepika’s pearl look from the 75th Cannes Film Festival. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Deepika wore a white pearl bustier and hand-embroidered collar over an ethereal white sari by designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla at Cannes.

Meanwhile, Alia is not the only Bollywood Diva at the Met Gala. Priyanka Chopra has also returned to the red carpet of Met Gala for the fourth time. Priyanka confirmed her presence while speaking to Variety journalist Mark Malkin. While she kept details of her outfit under wraps, she teased that it would be in line with the theme of the Met Gala this year. “Confirmed! @priyankachopra just told me she’ll be at the #MetGala on Monday. She says her look will be ‘on a theme’ because she loves a theme but will also have a ‘special element’ to it.”
The theme of the Met Gala is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, which honors the German fashion designer. The veteran fashion designer passed away in 2019 at the age of 85.
