Alia Bhatt talks about her first meeting with SS Rajamouli.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt worked with SS Rajamouli in RRR which won an Oscar for its hit track Naatu Naatu.
Alia Bhatt recently praised director SS Rajamouli as he made it to the list of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2023. The actress worked with the filmmaker in RRR. Writing a special note for her, he also shared about his first meeting with her and the most important piece of advice he got from her.
Alia wrote, “I first met SS Rajamouli during the preview of Baahubali 2. We were all very starstruck. And even when I was watching the film, I was like, ‘Oh my god, what a dream it would be to work with this director. Lo and behold, the dream come true.'”
He added, “Being directed by him in RRR was like going back to school. He knows he is serving an audience. He knows what to kill, what to take. I call him the master storyteller, because he really loves the instincts and abandon of stories. And that brings us together. India is a vast country with diverse demographics, tastes and cultures. But he gets that—and he unites us through his movies.
Finally he said, “I once asked him for advice about acting. He said, “Whatever choice you make, just do it with love. Because even if the film doesn’t work, the audience will see your work in your eyes. Will see love for

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt Will be seen in Karan Johar’s film Rocky and Rani’s love story. She will be seen sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film is all set to release on July 28, 2023.
