Alia BhattTurning producer for the first time with her film Darlings, she revealed that she is very nervous on the first day of shooting. Alia shared a series of black and white pictures on Instagram and Twitter and talked about how nervous she would mess up her lines.
He wrote, ‘Darling’s first day! This is my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first and forever
(A very nervous actor in this case). I don’t know what it is.. the night before starting a new movie I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body.. I dream about my lines messing up all night. .Get weird.. Arrive 15 minutes ahead of time I’m afraid I’ll be late! I think this feeling will never go away.. and it shouldn’t – because being nervous… and feeling unsure means you really care. PS – Please wish me luck (I will need this to match my co-actors @itsvijayvarma @shefalishahofficial @roshan.matthew) (sic).
Her Darlings and Gully Boy co-star Vijay Varma also echoed the sentiment, as he commented, “The same! Sleepless and on tenterhook. But I found the best co-actor/producer, so I was settled. You watch your darlings.”
He also received best wishes from his friends and colleagues in the industry. Jacqueline Fernandez and Mouni Roy wished him, Dia Mirza commented, “All the best. Have the most wonderful time.” Alia’s best friend, actress Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor wrote, “All the best my darlings.”

Darlings is the story of a mother-daughter duo and stars Alia and Shefali Shah in lead roles. Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew will play pivotal roles in the film. Darlings is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
