Jammu and Kashmir: Actress Alia Bhatt is currently in Kashmir shooting for Karan Johar’s directorial venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. If reports are to be believed then the team of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ recently jetted off to the picturesque valley for a film shoot. Romantic song there.
Some pictures and videos from the sets went viral. In the picture, Alia is seen wearing a red turtleneck sweater and a matching red blazer. She is also seen wearing a nose ring. In one of the clips, Alia is seen shooting for the song while sitting in a car.

Directed by Johar, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ also stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles. Tota Roy Chowdhury, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha, Arjun Bijlani, Arjit Taneja will also be seen in important roles. The film marks the second collaboration between Ranveer and Alia and the return of Karan as a director after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). KJo recently announced the new release date of his film with a sweet message.
He wrote, “They say ‘sabr ka phal meetha hota hai’, so to increase the mithaas of this incredibly special story – we’re coming with a whole lot of love! Rocky aur Rani ke parivaar ho rahe hai taiyyaar, aur ab dekhiye yeh anokhi kahani of pyar! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani in cinemas 28th July, 2023.”
Initially, the film was scheduled to release on the eve of Valentine’s Day this year. But later the makers pushed the date to April. Karan then posted a long caption, “After 7 years, it’s time for me to return to my first home – theatres. I had the complete honor of working with not one, but many wonderful actors on the sets of my film. The family nostalgic feel of an ensemble cast, creating music that tugs at the heartstrings and a story that goes back to the roots of our family traditions.”
The film is all set to hit the theaters on July 28, 2023. It was initially scheduled to release on 10 February 2023, but was postponed due to shooting delays. It was scheduled to release on 28 April 2023, but to avoid clashing with Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II.
Alia is back on the sets after welcoming her baby girl Raha in November 2022.
