In the wake of Alia Bhatt’s uncle Robin Bhatt’s announcement that the mehendi ceremony will take place on April 13, the official countdown has begun for D-Day, which could be the wedding of the year! With Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tying the knot on April 14, as confirmed by Robin Bhatt, the bridesmaids upped their game and started getting ready for the fast-paced event.
The wedding guest list is a compilation of several A-list celebrities among them are, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Akansha Ranjan, Anushka Ranjan, Rohit Dhawan, Varun Dhawan and Zoya Akhtar.
Anushka Ranjan, aka the Highway actress ‘BFF’ has a lot of responsibilities on her shoulders which includes a special graduation for the lucky bride. Anu Ranjan, Anushka’s mother and Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan were close and now Anushka and Alia are too, which makes it better for Ranjan to party for his bestie.
With only five days left for D-Day, it was only natural for Ranjan to be seen in Manish Malhotra store for a unique outfit for the big wedding. As reported by India Today, after an intense discussion with the team of the renowned designer, Ranjan seems to be swinging between either a gown or a sharara.
The Ranjan sisters- Anushka and Akansha share a great bond with Alia. When the former tied the knot with Aditya Seal last year, Alia was present to support her bestie during the wedding festivities.
Meanwhile, fans of Raalia have another reason to celebrate as the celeb couple will be sharing the screen for a film for the first time this year. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which is all set to release in September this year.
