Alia Bhatt has returned to India after the Met Gala and has dropped latest photos from a magazine shoot.
Alia Bhatt is currently on a roll! After grabbing eyeballs globally at this year’s Met Gala, Alia Bhatt has taken the internet by storm with her latest photoshoot. Alia dropped jaw-dropping photos on her Instagram handle in Gucci outfits for a recent magazine shoot. One of the photos also features the actress in a bold avatar.
In one of the photos, Alia was seen posing in an unbuttoned jacket with a pair of matching shorts. Alia Bhatt ditched a top and a bra under the jacket and looked sultry as she looked at the camera. Have a look at the photos here:
Alia Bhatt is widely recognised as a fashion queen who steals the spotlight whenever she graces the red carpet or poses for a shoot. This year’s Met Gala was no different, with Alia stunning in a saree by Sabyasachi. Interestingly, Alia’s traditional attire received the loudest cheers on the Met Gala red carpet. International paparazzi couldn’t contain their excitement as she posed. Needless to say, her look was loved by fans and her family, including mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
During her red carpet interview with Vogue, Alia expressed her excitement to represent India in a saree. “I’m feeling great. I’m feeling very excited. Months of preparation, lots of conversations and all builds up to this one moment. It’s so surreal but it’s also very special. It’s my second time at the Met, but my first time wearing a saree. When I thought of the dress code, ‘Garden of Time’, I felt it needed something timeless and there’s nothing timeless than a saree,” Alia told Vogue.
Beyond her fashion choices, Alia also embraced her Indian culture by warding off the evil eye in a quintessential desi way. She applied a kajal dot behind her ear, a traditional practice. It can be seen in a photo where she faces away from the camera.
Alia Bhatt has been on a roll with back-to-back commercial as well as critical success. From Gangubai Kathiawad to Darlings, Brahmastra to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the actress has also managed to create a space for herself amid the international audience with ‘Heart Of Stone’.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Alia will soon be seen in Jigra. The film is directed by Vasan Bala and jointly produced by Alia and Karan Johar. She has also signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
