Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi starrer ‘The Kashmir Files’ released on Friday. Directed by National Award winning director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the film showcases the brutally honest account of the victims of the Kashmir genocide. It has received good reviews from critics and audiences alike. Even PM Narendra Modi was seen praising the content of the film. It released alongside Prabhas starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ and managed to exceed the box office expectations. It took an opening of Rs 3.25 crore and jumped higher on its second day collecting Rs 8.25 crore. Due to the high demand theaters have scheduled more shows in the states and internationally. Within days of its release, the film has been declared tax-free in states like Gujarat, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. Even though the film is doing wonders at the box office, the celebs from the industry are yet to react or comment on it.
