Bollywood star Akshay Kumar visited the residence of Farah Khan to offer his condolences following the recent passing of her mother, Menaka Irani. The heartfelt occasion saw Akshay being greeted by Sajid Khan, Farah’s brother, with whom he shares a close bond.
In a video, shared by Manav Manglani, Akshay Kumar, dressed in a simple yet elegant white shirt, slightly unbuttoned at the collar, paired with casual blue jeans, was seen in salt and pepper avatar. Sajid was wearing a black t-shirt and baggy shorts. The two men, bound by years of friendship and professional collaborations, shared a heartfelt hug. They have worked together in numerous projects, including hits like Heyy Babyy, Housefull, and Housefull 2.
The gathering at Farah Khan’s residence saw many friends and family coming together to support the grieving family last week. Among them was Shah Rukh Khan, another close confidant of Farah’s. In a series of emotional and widely shared photographs, Shah Rukh, accompanied by his family members Gauri and Suhana Khan, was seen consoling Farah. One particularly poignant moment was captured when Shah Rukh gave Farah a flying kiss.
Shah Rukh Khan, who has a long-standing friendship with Farah, ensured his presence during this challenging time. After spending considerable time with her, Shah Rukh was seen accompanying Farah down from her residence. In an act of unwavering support, he stayed by her side until she was driven away by celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker.
Several other celebrities, including Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty, Bhushan Kumar, and MC Stan, among others, had also visited Farah Khan’s house to pay their last respects.
