Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi to star in Jolly LLB 3

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are all set for a faceoff in Jolly LLB 3. The film shooting has been going on. Sometimes the actors have shared photos and videos too. Well, now Pinkvill has exclusively reported that the film is all set to release next year in April. The date has also been revealed. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “The makers were always clear to bring the film during the Summer 2025 period and took no time to lock April 10, 2025 as the release date. The film will release on Thursday, April 10, 2025 on account of Mahavir Jayanti and then reap the benefit of the Ambedkar Jayanti Holiday on Monday, April 14 as well. It’s a 5-day extended holiday weekend, which is perfect for a family-based comic entertainer like Jolly LLB 3.”
“The film has shaped up to be an absolute entertainer for the cinema-going audience, keeping the essence of the Jolly LLB franchise intact. The film pits Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi against each other inside the court,” the source added.
Reportedly, Amrita Rao has also joined the cast. She will be reprising her Sandhya’s role. Amrita was part of the lead actress in Jolly LLB. A source close to HT City confirmed, “Amrita is returning as Arshad’s wife in Jolly LLB 3, continuing their story from the first part. With her entry, it’s a complete unification of Jolly LLB 1 and 2 cast.”

Following this, Arshad was seen introducing himself as the “original” Jolly. The video ended with a glimpse of Saurabh Shukla. In the caption of his video, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Ab original kaun aur duplicate kaun, yeh toh pata nahi. But this sure is going to be a jolly good ride !! Stay with us. Jai Mahakaal .”
The first Jolly LLB film, which was released in 2013, featured Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. On the other hand, the film’s sequel hit theatres in 2017 in which Akshay Kumar replaced Arshad Warsi. He was also joined by Huma Qureshi as his love interest.
Reportedly, in the third instalment, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi will be seen at loggerheads whereas, Saurabh Shukla will reprise his role as a judge. However, the makers have not issued any official statement regarding the film’s plot as of now.
