In the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Purvanchal Expressway is now becoming an arena of war between BJP and Samajwadi Party. A day after PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the highway, the former UP chief minister said that the work started in its project form during the tenure of the Samajwadi Party. Meanwhile, during the rally in Ghazipur, he emphasized on good infrastructure and called it the key to development.
