Ajmer man kills 2 daughters, attacks wife; suicide attempt | Jaipur News – Times of India

Ajmer: An unemployed man running in depression tried to kill his wife and himself by killing his two daughters of 7 and 5 years on Wednesday.
However, the couple was rescued and admitted to the Government Amrit Kaur Hospital in Beawar.
According to the police, 28-year-old Ajit Cheeta and his wife Kavita, 27, a resident of Bhawanikheda Colony of Kharwa village on the Ajmer-Biawar highway, were found lying in a pool of blood when the police reached their house after getting information from the neighbors. He was taken to Beawar Hospital where he was admitted and his health is recovering. But the police recovered the bodies of 7-year-old Anita and 5-year-old Angel from the house.
SHO Beawar Sadar Surendra Singh said that when Ajit regained consciousness in the hospital, he told that they had a love marriage and is currently unemployed. His wife Kavita had recently undergone gynecological surgery and was on complete bed rest. He had to do all the household chores and this kept him depressed. Then he decided to commit suicide by killing his entire family. news network
