Ajay Devgn’s Recitation Of Manoj Muntashir’s Poem ‘Sipahi’ Leaves Akshay, Suniel In Tears

Mumbai: To celebrate India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War on 26 Julyth Every year ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ is celebrated in our country. Though the war ended with victory for us, many soldiers lost their lives at the border fighting to save the dignity and pride of their motherland. To honor all the living or martyred heroes of Kargil, the Prime Minister of India pays tribute to them at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate.

Well, a day after India celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn shared a video of him reciting a poem penned by Manoj Muntashir. This poem dedicated to all the heroes is known as ‘Sepoy’. The ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ actor recited the poem beautifully and it left Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty in tears.

Sharing Ajay’s video on Twitter, Akshay Kumar wrote, ‘I am not very expressive when it comes to emotions in real life. But it put me in tears. @ajaydevgn, I didn’t know you have a wonderful poet inside you. On what will you win my heart?

The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor apologized in his next tweet, revealing that he did not know that the poem belonged to Manoj Muntashir. Akshay tweeted, “Just found out that the words of this very touching poem are from the amazingly talented @manojmuntashir. Narrated by @ajaydevgn”.

Suniel Shetty also shared the video and wrote, “When a dear friend talks about country and soldier. Heartfelt love of one brother for another. Tears come to the eyes, of pride, make the heart strong. Bravo @ajaydevgn. Wonderful thing. @manojmuntashir #soldier”.
