Airtel successfully tests 5G private network at Bosch facility

New Delhi: Bharti Airtel on Friday (July 15) announced the successful trial of 5G private network at Bosch Automotive Electronics India facility in Bengaluru. In both cases, 5G technology such as mobile broadband and ultra-reliable low latency communications accelerated automated operations and reduced downtime, the statement said.

Private networks installed on trial spectrum at the Bosch facility provide multi-Gbps (gigabits per second) throughput, as well as the ability to handle thousands of connected devices.
