Delhi-London (AI-111) flight overturned due to ‘unruly’ passengers on board. The airline has lodged a complaint against the passenger with the Delhi Airport Police. As per the latest updates, the passenger is currently at PS Delhi airport.

Flight returned to Indira Gandhi International Airport

Sources said flight AI 111, which had around 225 passengers on board, returned to the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) as there was an unruly male passenger on board. He said the unruly passenger was offloaded at the airport and the plane later took off for London Heathrow. Air India’s statement on the incident is awaited.

Meanwhile, an Air India flight that took off from the national capital to San Francisco faced a technical problem before take-off and was back on stand-by on Monday morning, sources said. The airline replaced the aircraft and the flight later took off for San Francisco.

Sources said there were over 200 passengers on board the ship. According to sources, due to a technical glitch, the aircraft had to backtrack before takeoff and returned to the stand. Later the passengers were put on another plane. There was no immediate statement from Air India.
