The new audio clip of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s confidante VK Sasikala has created another stir in the political arena of Tamil Nadu, especially the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). In the audio tape, Sasikala can be heard telling her supporters in the party that if AIADMK had acted in unity under her (Sasikala) leadership, it would have come back to power and formed the government again in the state. .

Conversations between the expelled party leader and his supporters were leaked on social media, revealing that Sasikala has been in touch with her supporters in the AIADMK over frequent phone calls and has hinted at her political re-entry. Speaking to Chidambaram, a supporter of Erode, Sasikala can be heard saying, “I will definitely be back when the Covid-19 surge is completely over. The party is now on a different path. I will come soon and fight to capture and protect the party.”

“When Amma (Jayalalithaa) was there, our party got the status of the third largest party in India. But today we have lost our MPs. We have reprimanded the sitting MPs, the other party for their wrong decisions. If there was unity between AIADMK and AMMK without any problem then surely we would have formed the government.

Speaking to Sundaram from Attur in Salem district, Sasikala said, “In Salem, AIADMK workers are working in an arbitrary manner. Ask our party workers not to worry. I will come soon and fix everything.” Similarly, two other audio tapes of conversations with Kancheepuram and Erode cadres have also been leaked.

Reportedly, the party’s co-coordinator and Leader of Opposition Edappadi Palanisamy and Coordinator and Deputy Leader of Opposition O Panneerselvam have taken action against five AIADMK members who spoke to Sasikala over phone, as she was expelled from the party. was given.

EPS and OPS have issued a joint statement in this regard, which read, “Ramakrishnan, Joint Secretary, District Students Council; R Saravanan, Deputy General Secretary, Sivagangai District, Purachi Thalaivi Amma Pervai; District Women Joint Secretary Shanmugpriya; Former council secretary Thimrajapuram Rajagopal and Tchanallur student wing joint secretary Sundarraj have been removed from all responsibilities, including the original membership of the party, for acting contrary to the policy, objectives and principles of AIADMK and defaming the party.

Earlier, 17 party office-bearers were expelled from the party by the EPS and OPS for their talks with VK Sasikala.
